Cash Payment for Treatment

If, for any reason, you intend to pay cash for your surgical treatment (Lap Band® or gastric bypass), the Fast Track program may be an option for you. Your medical condition will be thoroughly evaluated to ensure you are appropriate for the 30-day plan.

If you've already started a medical work up and have been approved by your health insurance carrier for Lap Band® or gastric bypass surgery, you are an excellent candidate for the Fast Track 30-day program. Our insurance specialists can work with your insurance carrier to transfer your approval to our center.

Patients Generally Excluded from the Fast Track Program

• Insured patients that require medical weight management
• Patients with multiple, major, obesity-related illnesses
• Patients excluded by surgeon or other consulting physicians
• Patients requiring complex consults with other medical professionals, such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, etc.

In the event that you don't qualify for the 30-day Fast Track program, don't lose heart. It may take a little more time, but it will be worth it—and your Alexian support team will be with you each step of the way.
